Chapter Seven

Journal Day 24

Dancing and sucking. That’s how I’d describe my last date with JD. Not that I’m complaining. It was amazing. I could barely get my lips around his dick but damn it was fun trying. Don’t know if I’ll see him again. We left it open with an “I’ll call you” at the end of the night. Always seems to be the kiss of death. Damn.

Elliot walked out of the kitchen with a plate of sandwiches and set them on the side table.

He spared Linc a glance but didn’t let it linger. Linc stood by the couch, trying to look comfortable, but every few minutes his eyes would flicker toward the stairs as if he was remembering going up to Elliot’s bedroom and getting his ass fucked.

Fuck, Elliot was having a tough time with the memory as well. He’d long since untucked his shirt to hide his hard-on. He’d been half hard all day just thinking about Linc in his house.

He shoved the thought aside and looked around, making sure everything was in place. He’d ordered sandwiches from the local deli—he didn’t cook—and had plenty of beer.

“Who’s dealing?” he asked. The question called the guys to the table. Linc appeared relieved to have something to do.

The guy sat down, sandwiches and beer were distributed as Mickey shuffled the cards.

“Let’s play Truth or Dare poker,” Tank suggested.

Groans circled the table.

“We did that last month.” Elliot shook his head. “Let’s just play poker tonight.”

“Besides,” Mickey said as he dealt the cards. “It will be kind of a letdown with Linc and his pretty white dress.” Elliot pressed his lips together and crushed the groan scratching his throat. The image of Linc in that dress—or more precisely out of that dress—lingered in his memory, pulled out when he wanted to jack off to the picture of the perfect sub—a little shy, a little embarrassed but with a hard cock he couldn’t deny.

Elliot shifted in his chair and casually tugged on his jeans, trying to ease the pressure on his dick.

“But how else are we going to hear how Baby Bear’s date went?” Tank said.

Elliot reached out for his cards and froze, his head snapping up at Tank’s question.

“Date?” he asked. He was glad that question sounded cool, almost disinterested. He turned and met Linc’s stare. What was Tank talking about? His night with Linc? Surely the kid hadn’t said anything about that.

“Yeah, Friday right?” Tank said. “Rushed out so he could go home and sleep before his date. We never heard how it went.”

Friday? Linc had a date on Friday? It sure as hell hadn’t been Elliot.

It had to be JD.

Asshole.

All eyes turned to Linc. He tried to look casual but squirmed in his chair, clearly uncomfortable. Damn, what did JD do to him?

“It was fine.”

“Fine?” Tank tossed a chip into the pot. “Call. We need more than ‘fine’. Who is she? What’s she look like? Did you get any?”

Tension zipped down Elliot’s spine even as he saw Linc sit up a bit taller.
